At the Annual Parish Meeting on January 25, 2026, four (4) new Vestry members will be elected to serve a three-year term, 2026-2029.

Canon 7.1 of the Diocesan Constitution specifies, "Vestries shall consist of not fewer than six (6) and not more than fifteen (15) lay members who shall be Confirmed Communicants in Good Standing of the Parish, who are at the time of election at least eighteen (18) years of age, and who were financial contributors to the Parish in the preceding year as shown on the records of the Treasurer of the Parish."

The Vestry asks each Vestry candidate to make the following declaration:

I solemnly declare that I do believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the Word of God, and to contain all things necessary to salvation; and, I do solemnly engage to conform to the doctrine, discipline. and worship of The Episcopal Church.

Are you willing to make this declaration?

Vestry meetings are at 12:30 pm on the third Sunday of the month, with occasional exceptions. Will you commit to arrange your work and travel schedule in order to attend regularly?

Will you commit to attend the annual Vestry Retreat each year? Date of the 2026 retreat is TBD.

Vestry members are encouraged to attend church activities when they are able. Will you commit to this?

Will you commit to serve as a Vestry liaison to one of our commissions, standing committees, or ministries and to attend their meetings?

Will you abide by the by-laws, policies, and guidelines adopted by the Vestry?

Will you support the Vestry's commitment to faithful stewardship?

Do you believe God is calling you to serve as a member of the Vestry at this time?

Will you schedule an appointment with one of our Priests for a conversation about this discernment?

THE CANDIDATE STATEMENTS OF ALL NOMINEES, ALONG WITH A PHOTO OF EACH, WILL BE PUBLISHED AND DISTRIBUTED TO THE PARISH DURING THE FIRST WEEKS OF JANUARY 2025. NOMINEES WILL BE INTRODUCED TO THE CONGREGATION DURING WORSHIP ON THE WEEKEND PRIOR TO THE ANNUAL PARISH MEETING AND IN A RECEPTION IN THE PARISH HALL FOLLOWING THE 10:30 AM SERVICE ON JANUARY 26, 2025.
